Chandelier cleaning is a tedious task. Not only can cleaning all of the glass and crystal of a chandelier be a daunting task but it is often complicated with difficulties such as accessing the very high chandelier. 

Thankfully we have ladders that reach up 24' high and do not need to be leaned against a wall for support.  Even better, we have a staff of team members who are trained at cleaning some of the finest Murano glass chandeliers to Swarovski crystal chandeliers. 

The best place to start for receiving a free bid on the cleaning of your chandelier is to take a photo of not only the chandelier but the floor space directly below it and send it to our email address on our contact page.

For very tall chandeliers, we have a ladder that can reach most any ceiling in a 2 story building, but it does require an adequate amount of floor space so that it can be safely placed on the floor.  This usually isn't a problem.  For those tricky jobs where the chandelier is over a stairwell, we have some unique ladders that can be maneuvered over the stairway to safely reach the chandelier. 

Roof cleaning is not for the faint of heart.  It can often be dangerous, dirty, and downright messy.  Some of the more common requests we have are from homeowner's who have received a notice from their Home Owner's Association requesting that they clean their roof.  The good news is that this project can usually be completed in one day (depending on the roof) and it does a great job at increasing the curb appeal of your home.

Roofs are known to get green algae growth or even black mold.  We have cleaned roofs with concrete tiles, cedar shake roofs, composition roofs, clay tiles, and even natural stone tiles. 

When ordering a roof cleaning, make sure your service provider has adequate power washing insurance and is knowledgeable about what is the best approach for cleaning your roof.  Not all roofs pose the same challenges; from steep pitches, to tiles which crack easily, to concerns with water being splashed on a neighboring property.  Our company not only is capable of hot- and cold-water power washing of roofs, but we also have a method which utilizes low-pressure 12volt pumps to deliver detergents that are specifically made to clean roofs.

Is your driveway dirty?
We can help.  We have been cleaning driveways since 2008 and have professional grade equipment that is capable of removing all kinds of stains.  Believe me, we have seen all kinds of stuff on driveways, from syrup spills from pancake cookouts on the driveway, to acid and battery rust that builds up from a leaky vehicle.  But it's not just concrete that may take a beating.  Pavers, cobblestone, and decorative concrete driveways can be cleaned as well.

Below is a video of a hot-water power washer connected to what is known as a "surface cleaner."  What a lawn mower is to grass, a surface cleaner is to concrete.  It has nozzles below the black housing/cover that is spinning about 2000 rpm and is scrubbing the concrete.  You can see the immediate difference as the algae and dirt is blasted off the surface leaving a clean walkway.  Another major advantage of this tool is that nearby shrubs and plants don't look like they have been hit by a hurricane because the built in housing only lets steam escape from the sides.

One thing you want to ask your power washing contractor is if he uses a surface cleaning machine. These machines help the contractor cleaned faster and more efficiently. These machines also help eliminate unwanted stripe marks in the concrete that is very common from a traditional wand technique. Also, they help prevent nearby plants and bushes from getting damaged from overspray from a powerwash wand.

These machines come in different shapes and sizes, but they all have similar features. Possibly the most important feature is the centerpiece which is the swivel. The swivel pictured below is a stainless steel swivel made in Germany and it is a top quality swivel. This allows for faster spinning of the nozzles beneath the shroud which produces a better cleaning pattern. Although it is a more expensive swivel it will last longer over the course of several years. For the contractor this could mean big savings not only because it won't breakdown as frequently on jobs, but it will last many hours longer than a traditional brass version.

One of the biggest concerns from many of our clients is wondering if our power washing services are EPA compliant.  A resounding "YES they are."  Pictured below is one of our power washing trailers which features a very high end vacuum that is capable of reclaiming, recycling, and reusing our dirty wash water.  With this vacuum which is produced by hydrotek, called the azv88, we are able to keep our oily and dirty water from entering the local storm drains.

Also, some of our trailer are able carry over 300 gallons of fresh water so that we have extended cleaning periods which is not only convenient for us but also for our customers as we can finish the job in a more timely manner when there is not a local water source.

When a local Los Angeles, CA art gallery came to their place of business to see some awful remarks tagged on the wall adjacent to their retail entrance, they knew they had to get it cleaned fast.  They called us and we offered same day service. Within a few hours, we were coning off a work area, and cleaning the crude remarks off the block wall.

Even though the art gallery had some black spray paint to cover the graffiti or tag on the wall, they wanted to get the surface cleaned back to original condition. 

When we are contacted to remove graffiti from an unpainted masonry surface, our standard procedure is to remove the graffiti by washing techniques, not by covering the graffiti with a coat of paint that almost matches the surrounding area.

Pictured below is a concrete cleaning device called a surface cleaner.  Below the aluminum shroud is a swivel that spins 2 or more high pressure nozzles at high speed which allows us to clean concrete or other flat surfaces at much greater speed and efficiency than traditional wand methods would allow.  This particular project took our team 9 days as we washed all of the common walkways through out 4 large complexes in Irvine, CA.

The picture below is an example of the traditional wand cleaning methods.  Although this method can provide a deeper clean and is more effective at removing some objects such as gum and paint, it also cleans slower and often with more unevenness than the surface cleaning devise.

Some power wash operators make the mistake of buying a wand that is not long enough to allow a pressure washing technician to clean comfortably and while standing upright.  Our wand in the picture below is 56" long, which is far more comfortable than the common 36" wand found with many part-time power wash contractors.

Sometimes you run across something that you were not expecting that totally makes your day.  Today was just that type of thing.  Matt and I were cleaning out some of the old trash and other gross stuff that accumulates behind the right field "out of town" scoreboard at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA when we found an old baseball.  Being big baseball fans, finding an old Major League Baseball is always a keepsake.
