Today we were in Irvine, CA to remove some graffiti for an Association on a common wall.  The markings, although very beautiful, just didn't belong on the wall.  Most all masonry surfaces can be cleaned with the use of a hot-water power washer and a quality graffiti cleaning product.  Other surfaces can often be cleaned, but more caution and experience is necessary as damage can be done to the underlying surface (aka substrate).  The picture below is of a masonry surface before the cleaning is performed. 

Without a hot-water pressure washing machine which is capable of creating water at temperatures over 190 degrees and a quality graffiti cleaning product, a silhouette or shadow of the previous markings may be left on the surface.  Now you can ask with confidence when ordering from a local power wash contractor.

That's why they have us out each year to maintain the roofs and gutters at their association.  They have roofs that are 1 and 2 stories high, but the majority of the needles seem to accumulate around the air-conditioners that are located above the flat roofs.  Each fall is an ideal time of year to have a property maintenance company come in and freshen the roof and gutters up for the rainy season.  Better yet, when it is done on a regular interval, the prices are almost always better than a cleaning that is done once every blue moon.
